Update!

Ahoy!

Since it has been a week since our last post, I thought I´d give you a quick update to keep you all happy until we can blog properly. A bit of a blog-entree if you will :)

Since we last spoke (sort of), the rain set into Bariloche, and there was not much to do, however we did get up to some interesting things and the Gringos even had their first ´MediumToHigh Danger-RatedExperience´, which you´ll be glad to know we survived. I was not scared at all.

After Bariloche we moved into Chile, to a town called Pucon, and oh what a time was had there. Actually it was even more rainy there, but nevertheless the ever-exciting Gringo´s managed to have a blast there. All the blastings shall also be dealt with in the coming blog.

Also, in the next episode, you shall hear of our first impressions of Santiago, and also of the three Gringos temporarily becoming the Four Gringos (thats right, I said four). All this, and perhaps less, coming soon to a horribly boring deskjob near you.

Not sure this really counts as a blog entry. No, scrap that, this is a blog and this here is an entry. I know it wasn´t what you wanted, but we´ve just got off an overnight bus to Santiago and we´re tired. And blogging is seriously hard work. We´ve gotta load the pics off all the cameras, compile them into folders, back up the folders on our harddrives, then write writty and poignant words about our impressions of latin america which are relevant to today´s ever-changing society, before patiently slotting relevant photos amoungst said witty words and finally making sure you do all that before your time at the internet cafe runs out.

Im not complaining, just procrastinating in a whingy sort of way.

Well aren´t you excited now? All that juicy material for you to look forward to. Questions will be answered, questions like, Why is Chile called Chile and also is shaped like a Chilie?, Just how high are the Andes?, and, Why does Steve have such man-sized muscles?

If you want to know the answers, stay tuned.

Chchchch-aaaaau!

You guys are such a cock-tease and an anti-climax, seriously. Update... ? Update??! What a crock.
Here I was, expecting to get to my yucky desk, start up my yucky laptop, and find your beautiful adventures (and misadventures). But no. I get this bite sized "update". Poo.

Three derring-do gringos in Chile
Found the landscape a tad more than hilly;
They went hither and thither
Their zest not to wither,
Their plan – by design -- willy-nilly.

You suck! Actually no, you don't. Cannot tell you how much I appreciated the birthday call! Such a surprise, and so good to hear you! If I had known you were writing from possibly the most beautiful place in the world (seriously - are those pics for real?!) I would have been able to compile intelligent and answer-worthy questions, rather than my Wow! I mean, like, wow! Is that really you? Wow! Sorry, hey. Can't wait to hear about medium-high danger adventures, or maybe naat as would then have to worry about you and it's such a relief not to have to worry about you in this m***** f***** of a city we call home. Stay in Patagonia, open another hostel, serve boerie rolls and Castle Lager, and we'll come visit you. Yours, in anticipation, The Moose.

There was an old prof on a plot.
Who found himself bunged up with snot.
In an attempt to be smart,
and act out his part,
He wrote witty poems, or naaat!

How's that?

well, i'm proud of this blog and associated bloggers and poets. Wonderful stuff prof and moosekaka. And of course my own muscled gringo. Can't wait for next installment. But listen. I watched Motorcycle Diaries last night on Movie 2 and everyone has to watch this. The guy looks just like los gringo himself and the movie is enchanting and thought-provoking, she said seriously, hmmmmmmmmmm.

Just caught up on a whole lot of blogging, pretty amazing (the blogging, not that I caught up on it.) So I just thought I'd let everyone know. And keep it all coming (including the rhyming poetry.)

Gotta love that rhyming poetry, hey Adam? The non-rhyming type is highly overrated.

What's with all the update-bashers? We don't see you guys blogging away, do we?

A quick update from Liberty City: I robbed a bank with some Irish brothers. It went sour - one of our crew got shot by a wanna-be-vigilante idiot - but we managed to get away from the cops. My share was $250,000, so I'm smiling. I also broke up with Michelle when she turned out to be some kind of under-cover agent. I have a new girlfriend now. Her name is Kate, and she's Packy's sister. She's irritating. I have a helicopter now too. So on the whole life is good.
